Chalotra, who plays Yennefee the sorceress, and Cavill as Geralt both appeared in the Netflix series since its very first season. Cavill announced he would be leaving the show, even though it had been renewed for a 4th season. The streamer confirmed Liam Hemsworth will take over.

She told Variety that she didn't find out about her departure until after they had filmed Season 3.

I think that we will all be affected by this loss. He has been with us from the beginning. She continued, "We've gone through a lot of things together." It's been 5 years since we started The Witcher and COVID. We've done a lot together. "But with everything we do, it has to come to an end."

She continued to say that it was "a breath of fresh air" working with someone who is so passionate about the source material, like Cavill.

She said, "He is the best at The Witcher. He knows all the terms and Witcherknowledge. "So, to work with [Cavill], is a blessing. There are days where you may doubt the world more than others. He's always there to say, "Hang on. We've got this."

"Henry has moved on, and this is really exciting." She continued, "We've had five wonderful years with him and I'm looking forward to new energy coming in." "Liam is going to be brilliant, I am sure."

The star of the series revealed that The Hunger Games and she have not yet met in person. They've only communicated via email so far. However, she said that she is not concerned about having a brand new co-star.
