Jazz Jennings Hits Back at Conservative Commentators For 'Spreading Harmful Attacks'

The 22-year old shared a video in which he responded to conservatives such as Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh.

Jazz Jennings retaliates against the haters.

In a video posted to her YouTube page on Monday, "I Am Jazz' star responded to clips and articles written about her and slammed the apparent "misinformation," including that she regrets early transitioning and is "unhappy."

The 22-year old also addressed comments made by conservative commentators such as Ben Shapiro Matt Walsh Candace Owens.

Jazz wrote, "As an educated woman at Harvard and a proud woman myself, I have been focusing on my education as well as me," in the video's description. "Unfortunately conservative politicians and commentators such as Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro are spreading harmful misinformation and attacks about me, my parents, and the transgender communities. The fact that our community is being misgendered and insulted can be very hurtful. Instead of ignoring these people, I decided to confront them.

She continued, "In this live video, I respond to their videos and comments and debunk their hateful language, defending the validity and importance transgender identity." "I share the truth about my experiences of being a proud transgender women and I hope that this can be a powerful video for anyone who has experienced discrimination or hate based on gender identity or expression.

The reality star said, "If this video is being watched, I encourage you do your own research, and educate yourself on transgender issues and identities." Let's create a world in which everyone can be themselves and live without fear of discrimination.

The YouTuber introduced the video at the beginning of the nearly 10-minute clip. Jazz described it as Part 1 of 2.

I've worked hard in college and school at Harvard to develop myself in many ways. "I haven't been posting as much about me and my life on social media," she said. "So, today I will do a quick update video and also combat some of those crazy things people have said about me on the internet."

Jazz said, "It is really, really disturbing what people have been saying."
They've been jumping into conclusions about my life because of certain clips. I want to dispel some myths and let you all know that I am a proud and out transgender woman. I'm so proud to be myself, and my saying this should dispel what others have said.

The LGBTQ activist went on to respond to a number of headlines and comments that were written and said about her and explain why they were all incorrect.

Jazz's first reaction was to the headlines that claimed she regrets her early gender-transitioning.

She said, "I have no regrets whatsoever about my early gender transformation. I don't even know how people got this idea." "I don't regret anything. I am a woman who is out and proud. I love being me. I love my body. I love being a female. "That's who I am."

Her brother showed her a video clip where conservative commentator Matt Walsh discussed a clip of her reality show "I Am Jazz" in which Jazz tells her mother that she wants to just "feel like herself" and "be happier."

Walsh explained that Jazz Jennings, who has been living in a female body for many years, is not happy. Walsh showed the clip of the TLC show.

Jazz shared her thoughts: "It is really difficult to watch this because I am aware that I have a number of mental health problems." I am often depressed and suffer from severe anxiety. People tend to think my mental health problems are related to the surgery I had or being transgender. "That's not true."

She continued, "The surgery brought me only joy and happiness." "People believe that after surgery, everything is sunshine and rainbows. Everything's great. You've solved all your problems. No, you're still gonna face hardships. You're going to have problems. It was only one moment when I felt like I lacked the clarity I needed, I felt cluttered, and I didn't have the self-confidence I wanted in that moment. We all have our struggles. "You know, we all have those moments when we don't really know ourselves or don't feel that clarity. It causes us to fall apart."

Jazz then expressed her confusion about why people are associating the break down she experienced with her surgery, noting that this isn't even shown in the video.

"It's not me who regrets my surgery." Where do I say that I regret my operation in this clip? "I'm just having a little moment," she explained. We all have moments when we are faced with hardships or get into our heads. So, I hope this brings clarity to those who say that she regrets having the surgery and hates her own body. She is uncomfortable with her body, because I didn't see that in the clip.

Walsh, the college student, then went on to denounce what she said was misinformation about her parents. She cited Walsh's accusation that her mother had "brainwashed" her into a transition.

"So, he might never be able to fully accept what happened." "At least until his disgusting wretch mother is still living," Walsh said, misgendering Jazz on several occasions.

Jazz responded to the clip with a long -- and heated -- response.

I don't understand why some people are so determined to bring our community down. Why do you care? She said. "Let's just be ourselves, let's be happy." Let's be ourselves. We are not harming anyone. We need to celebrate our differences, and not bring each other down. "Anytime you wish death on someone, I think that you should take a moment to reflect on yourself and what's happening with you."

"My mother is not the abuser." "People like him are the ones who abuse us by saying such awful negative things about our communities," she continued as her voice began to rise. "You know we are under attack. In this video, it's clear that there are those who want to hurt us, see us fail and be miserable. That's a f---ing b------ because we don't wish that on anyone. We want people to see us as beautiful. Everyone deserves to be themselves. "Our messages are all about love and positivity."

Jazz continued, "And to see someone say such negative things is... hurtful." It's awful. All my life I've been bullied. I've had people attack me and my identity and I wish they would just let me be. ... "It's so frustrating."
