"I don’t like extravagant displays of wealth. They make me feel sick."

Julia Fox gives us an insider's view of her home. She is much more human than we might think.

The 32-year old model uploaded a TikTok video of her New York City apartment tour on Wednesday. She described it as "very underwhelming". Valentino is her 2-year-old boy.

Fox seems to have a normal home life despite her fame, with shoe boxes in her kitchen, toys in every room and a "small mouse problem" in her bedroom.

She began the 3 minute clip by saying, "I never imagined in a million that I would do it," but she also stated, "I don't believe in absolute transparency." "So, I'm going give you guys an apartment tour. Although I know I will get roasted, I hope someone will be able to see this and say, "Okay, maybe I'm not so bad."

Star of "Uncut Gems", the star took her fans into her bedroom which is actually her living room.

Fox stated, while pointing the camera at the clutter in the room.

After showing her the area where her son hangs out, the actress showed her "nostalgia Mirror", which included photos of her son and of her friends.

Fox also shared footage of a hanging print on her bedroom walls, as well as two small, empty potted plants on her dresser. Fox described this station as her "grow platform", where nothing is growing, because she doesn't know what she's doing.

She continued with her video and then went into the apartment's long hallway. It contained a variety items including clothes and a shoe rack.

Fox then filmed her "little toilet" after she showed some of the framed photos she had displayed in the hallway. Fox explained that although it is tiny, it does the job.

Fox also filmed Valentino's kitchen and then showed her "kitchen area" which included a variety items on the table including a cotton candy machine. She said, "Don't judge" in the video. It's messy, I know. "I also have shoe boxes in my kitchen, which is quite common among New Yorkers."

The Milan-born star gave a tour of Valentino’s room. It was adorable but Valentino doesn’t spend much time there.

She explained that she put the most effort into the room, pointing out the loft bed, bookshelf, and array of toys. I wanted him to have a nice room. He doesn't like to hang out in this room. He wants to be in his mama's bedroom. He doesn't like to sleep in that room. He shares a bed with me. Yeah, we're co-sleepers. Sue me, I don't care."

Fox returned to her bedroom/living area and explained why she was living in this way.

She said that she doesn't like extravagant wealth displays. They make me feel sick. People who have huge houses are more likely to be homeless than those without. Like, I'm just not like that."

Fox also shared that she has a problem with a mouse in her home.

She said, "It depends on how you view it." "I let them rock. They come out at night and pick up any crumbs my son has left on the floor. It's a great thing. I won't be evicting the mice any time soon.

She concluded her video by showing two urns that contained ashes of friends she had displayed on her windowsill.

Fox captioned the video with, "Come along me on a very boring apartment tour!" Also, I only have one mouse, and he's adorable.

Many TikTok users praised Fox's "normal" apartment as a celebrity, posting comments to their praises.

"Love your home! It looks amazing and is perfect for NYC. It would be great if you could put your bedroom in the living area. Fox responded to a user, "I know it's insane that this apartment is big for NY standards lol But I grew up living in a shoebox so it doesn't bother me."

"Julia Fox is the most normal celebrity that I have ever seen. Her honesty and transparency are a credit to her. We love you jujufoxy," one fan said, while another added, "So nice finally to see a celeb home actually feels lived-in."

Another commented, "Your mother is obviously a mother who prioritizes your child and it's a beautiful apartment. You are showing that success is not the same for everyone.
