She thanked a woman for giving her a "good fortune" rock as she was being carried on a stretcher.

Updated at 8:30am PT 1/21/22

Kathryn Prescott, star of "Skins" as well as "A Dog's Journey", finally shared an update with her fans four months after she was injured by a cement truck in September.

She shared an Instagram photo of one rock. This rock was, she explained, a "good luck" charm during her recovery.

As I was being lifted onto the stretcher, I received this rock from an anonymous woman. Prescott recalled that she whispered to me that the rock was good luck. "As I was getting ready for my first surgery, I was asked by one of the nurses what was in my fist. It was there that I realized I had held onto it for years without realizing."

"Thank you to that woman (if anyone knows who she is, please tell me) and to all of my amazing nurses, doctors, physical/occupational therapists and surgeons at NYP and Mount Sinai," she continued. My sister was the one who moved heaven and earth to reach me during a global pandemic. My friends, thank you for being there without hesitation and sending my mums, sisters, and friends when I couldn't."

"Thanks to my hospital roommate for being who and making me laugh, even though there wasn't much to smile about," she said, before concluding that "Thanks to everyone who reached out and helped in any and all ways they could." Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

According to Megan Prescott, Kathryn Prescott, star of "A Dog's Journey", is currently in the ICU after she was hit by a cement truck.

Megan, 30 wrote that she received the most frightening phone call in her life on Tuesday night. Kathryn, my twin sister was struck by a cement truck as she crossed a New York street on September 7th.

Megan said that Kathryn sustained injuries after undergoing complex surgery. She had to have her pelvis broken in two places, both her legs, her foot, and her left hand removed. She is extremely lucky to be alive. She managed to avoid paralysis. Although she is hopeful of a full recovery, the doctors say that it will be difficult without proper care.

Megan, who is located in the UK, stated that she was "devastated” by being denied an exemption from COVID travel restrictions because she wanted to fly to the United States with her sister.

"She is all alone in New York without any family members. She explained that she needs help to get to New York in order to support her recovery. I will need to assist her until she is able to walk again. She will need my help with everything, as she can do very little on her own. She will need 24-hour care after leaving the hospital.

Megan, who now has proof of vaccination and documents that confirm Kathryn's hospitalization, said she will fight to find a way for her to fly to New York.

"I am aware that there are many things going on right now, but I am devastated that I cannot be with my twin sister at this terrible time in her life when her heart is breaking -- I don’t want her to have to go through it all by herself."

Her emotional message ended with a plea for help to find a way to Kathryn. Please, if you can help in any way, please reach out."

Alexandra Shipp, who starred alongside Prescott in "Dude" (2018), commented on Megan’s post, writing: "This is so horrible! I'm sending you guys love. "I'm going to find out how I can help!"

Kathryn, a London-born actress, starred with Megan in "Skins" as well as "24: Legacy", "Tell Me a Story" and "Skins."
