After deciding to reunite in the middle the pandemic, Khloe Kardashian was reportedly with Tristan Thompson and 2021 began. Although things looked good, the couple were reportedly still house hunting and thinking about having another child. However, their reunion was not a happy one. We now know that there was much more going on behind closed doors, including some things Khloe doesn't seem to have known.

Tristan & Khloe Consider Using A Surrogate To Have Another Child

Khloe explored her options for expanding their family early in the year with Tristan. Khloe was told by her doctor that it was not a good idea to have another child. The couple decided to try surrogacy.

Tristan and me made embryos a few months back. I was also told at that time that I would not be intelligent if I had my second pregnancy. I was advised to look into surrogacy options and that I would be high-risk. Tristan and we have now decided to pursue that option. I have a surrogate agency who is sort of filtering through whom they think might best suit me and my family," Tristan said in a later episode "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

Khloe celebrates Tristan's 30th birthday

Khloe celebrated Tristan's 30th Birthday in March with a small gathering of family and friends. Khloe shared a tribute to Tristan on social media and expressed her admiration for him. She also admitted that she looked forward to their future together.

"Those who endure everything to make them fall apart are the ones that come out stronger than before. I am grateful that you showed me all you promised. You are a father. You are my best friend. It feels like everything, and I am grateful that I can do nothing without you. "I hope you know how much you are loved by me and so many," Khloe wrote.

Tristan Discredits Rumors That He Has Cheated on Khloe with Model Sydney Chase

The things were going well for Khloe, Tristan, until May when Sydney Chase, a model, admitted that she had slept with Tristan while Khloe was with him. TMZ claims that Sydney claimed to have slept with Tristan while she was together. She also said that she received sexually explicit texts from the basketball player.

Tristan immediately responded to the allegations by sending a cease-and-desist letter through Marty Singer, his lawyer. He called Sydney's statements "malicious and defamatory fabrications" and stated that "Mr. Thompson did not have any relationship whatsoever with you, nor had he ever sent you such texts." He accused Chase of fabricating Tristan quotes and called her a lie.

Khloe threatens to take legal action against Tristan's paternity accuser

Rumours began to circulate about Kimberly Alexander's father, Tristan Alexander. Tristan had filed a 2020 libel suit against Khloe after she filed a paternity exam and Khloe allegedly created direct messages from Tristan. Lynda B.Goldman, Khloe’s lawyer, demanded that Kimberly cease harassing and defaming the reality star. She stated that Kimberly could be held liable for any further actions she takes, including false light invasion of privacy and defamation.

Tristan and Khloe Celebrate Father's Day

Despite turbulent weeks, Khloe & Tristan reportedly put on a united front when they celebrated Father's Day together with their daughter True. Although they didn't take any photos together, Tristan is reported to have returned home to Los Angeles to spend the day with his children.

Tristan is returning to L.A. for Father's Day celebrations with Khloe, True. During the [basketball] season, he spent a lot time away from L.A. According to People, Khloe is glad to have him back."

The happy ending for the couple was not to last as reports claimed that Khloe & Tristan split up soon after Father's Day. It is unclear when exactly the duo split up, as some outlets reported that they had separated a few weeks prior to Tristan's return home for Father's Day. Sources said that the couple had been able to come to an amicable agreement even though they split.

Tristan Posts a Birthday Tribute To Khloe

Tristan reached out to Khloe on June 27th, despite the split. He posted a tribute on social networks. He shared photos of the ex-couple and also wrote a touching message thanking Khloe's love and dedication to their family.

Khloe And Tristan Look To Be Friendly Co-Parents

The couple was able to co-parent their daughter together by August. Their relationship as parents seemed to be strong, even though they had no plans to get back together.

"Khloe is not with Tristan. They do get along very well. Khloe enjoys co-parenting with him. She is also happy being single. According to People, she isn't interested in a relationship with Tristan at the moment."

Khloe commented on Tristan’s October Instagram post, which featured their daughter True alongside Tristan’s son Prince. "They are so beautiful !!!! So so blessed!!! How angelic! Khloe posted in the comments section.

Tristan Sued For Child Support

Reports claimed that Tristan was set to become a father for a third time on December 3. Maralee Nichols, who filed a lawsuit against Tristan seeking child support and reimbursement for medical expenses and pregnancy-related expenses, broke the news.
