"I'm actually a healthy-weighted person." "I eat well and exercise every day," she said in response to fans' concerns about her appearance.
Kyle Richards, star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", has addressed her recent weight-loss -- again.
Dorit Kemsley, Kyle's co star posted pictures of Kyle and herself posing in Spain with other cast members. In one photo, which was deleted since then, Kyle is wearing a form-fitting black and white cutout gown with her bare sides peeking out.
According to Page Six fans expressed their concern over Kyle's weight gain, calling the picture "unhealthy", and asking if the actress is "ill."
The reality star later responded to fans' concerns and explained her appearance in the photo.
She commented on Page Six’s Instagram post: "The photo they are referring to, I was sucking because of the dress I was wearing." "Which, I realize now, was not a great look. I'm actually at a healthy weight. I exercise every day & eat well. "Anyone who knows me will attest to this."
Kyle continues to deny that her recent weight loss was due in part to weight loss medications like Ozempic.
Last month, Bravo's star retaliated against an Instagram user who claimed that she used a weight-loss drug to get her slim figure. She had shared a picture of herself in a floor-length dress with sparkly rhinestones cutouts on the waist.
It's sad that so many of you have turned to drugs in order to lose weight, which you never had to. You were always the prettiest one to me. "So sad," a commentator said.
She responded to the claims that her weight loss is due to drugs. She responded, "You're a moron." You have no idea how I use my body. "With all due respect, STFU."
Kyle hasn't been the only one to shut down Ozempic claims.
In March, when speaking to PEOPLE, the mother of four denied that she had ever used Ozempic, an anti-obesity and antidiabetic drug, for weight loss. She claimed she "never touched the stuff."
Kyle said, "I didn't know about Ozempic before I had already lost the weight that I wanted to," he claimed. "I stopped drinking alcohol 8 months ago and I started losing weight. First I thought, "Why are they saying that I am taking this diet drug?" They thought it was another type because I said, "It's definitely not Ozempic."
Kyle claims that she is "offended" and angry by the allegations that she has taken a prescription drug. She claimed to have achieved her weight-loss by exercising and eating healthily.
She said, "I've never used any diet drugs before." "It's just frustrating me because I work out so hard."
"I was offended by the fact that it is irresponsible, and I hear about diabetics now who are unable to get it," she said. Then it was, "Okay, I'm now mad." "Now I'm really angry," I said, because I would never do something like that. I am very honest and would have no problem in sharing this if it was true."
Kyle continued, "I work so hard. I want to be an example or inspiration for people who have kids and are of my age. I want to show them that they can get into shape." It felt as if they were trying to steal that from you, and I thought "That's cheating."
