Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are both in the news for years. Since they retired from their roles as royals, the couple has been under scrutiny. The Duchess was candid about the mental strain she felt from all of this attention. Prince Harry's ex girlfriend Florence St. George confirmed her true media fear during their relationship with the Duke.

St. George speaks out about the intense pressure from media

Prince Harry and St. George (formerly Brudenell Bruce) dated for a couple of months in 2011. For a time, the former couple kept things low-key and only received a few days of media attention. St. George said that despite their brief relationship, paparazzi fever was too much for them to manage. The tabloid coverage craze was just as daunting, she said. St. George told The Times that although it was difficult at the time, she felt lucky that the relationship ended quickly.

She explained that she saw for five, six and seven days. "It was a very frightening experience, and I decided that it wasn’t for me. St. George, a former model and now married with children, stated that the attention she received affected her in a way she didn't expect. Prince Harry's partner in media coverage is definitely more disturbing than the public may think.

St. George Compliments MeghanMarkle's Strength

Anyone would have to deal with the challenge of not having privacy because tabloid media is prying into your relationships. Markle was used to making public appearances on red carpets. This allowed her to be more comfortable than Harry's former partners in presenting herself to the world. The British tabloid media, however, was not impressed by Markle's life. They constantly scrutinize her. It can be difficult to deal with the stress of media for long periods of time. St. George complimented Meghan for this: "I take my hat of to people who can deal with that lifestyle, however, I knew that I couldn't."
