Riley Keough looks back on her late mother Lisa Marie Presley's love life.

In a cover story for Vanity Fair the Daisy Jones & the 6 actress was asked what it was like to grow up in the limelight, thanks to the fact that her family was related to Elvis Presley. Her mom also had relationships with stars such as Michael Jackson or Nicolas Cage.

Riley is Lisa Marie's second child with her ex Danny Keough. She was married to him from 1988-1994. Presley and Keough remained close but Presley divorced Keough quickly in the Dominican Republic. She married Michael Jackson 20 days later. Their marriage was a major news story, especially after allegations of child molestation in 1993.

"My entire childhood was probably extreme." Looking back, I can now see that these things are crazy to someone on the outside. When you live in them, all that matters is your family and your life. Riley, speaking to Vanity Fair, said: "You just remember the love. I had a real love for Michael."

She added that both Jackson and her grandfather shared a passion for making people happy in the most epic manner possible.

Which one do I prefer? She said, "I spent more time in Neverland than Graceland. "That was my real home. Graceland, on the other hand, was a museum during my lifetime."

Presley divorced Jackson in 1996. He got engaged in 1999 to John Oszajca, but they broke up in 2001. Presley married Cage in August of 2002. Keough had a lot less to say about Cage who, just months after Presley and Cage's marriage, filed for divorce in November 2002.

She told VF that he was a "great actor" and added that although they didn't stay in touch, she would be willing to work with him again in the future. "I have had some crazy stepfathers. She added, "Famous and not-famous".

Presley and Michael Lockwood welcomed Harper and Finley twins in 2008. They split up in 2016 after a bitter custody dispute. The divorce was not finalized until May 26th, 2021.

Keough also reflected on her childhood in Calabasas (California), the birthplace of the Kardashians. "I remember when we lived in Calabasas, it was only us and Melissa Etheridge. It was horse country," she said. "I'm a Calabasas girl from the beginning. I believe my grandma dated [the Kardashians] dad. Fact-check that."

Vanity Fair noted that Priscilla presley did date Robert Kardashian, the late Robert Kardashian, in 1973. This was a few years before he married Kris Jenner.
