Sarah Jessica Parker Is 'A Financial Victim'?

Woman's Day reported that Sarah Jessica Parker was facing serious financial difficulties a year ago. The magazine stated that Parker had "switched the glamour of acting for a more humble career selling shoes." According to the magazine, Parker was often seen helping customers at her Manhattan store as Ed Wood star. Fans believed Parker was a COVID victim because she rarely visited the store.

The tabloid reported that Parker's HBO series, Divorce had been cancelled after three years and her Broadway show had also been delayed. Parker also sold her "townhouse" of 20 years for $20.5 million.

So...Is Sarah Jessica Parker Broke Now?

This narrative was too easy to discredit when Gossip Cop first looked at it. Today, however, nothing has changed. The tabloid almost refutes Parker's story, with all of the facts it presents about Parker's life.

The actress, for example, had just completed a three year stint on HBO and sold her home for millions. She also had a Broadway play to look at. It is clear that she was not "strapped for money."

As we have previously pointed out, Woman's Day took just one piece of evidence from Daily Mail to completely twist the story. Daily Mail reported at the time that Parker was indeed seen in her Manhattan store helping customers. This was not because she needed the money but because she got engrossed in helping customers.

A spokesperson for Parker also confirmed the claim with Cop.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Other Stories

This was not the first time Woman's Day had published a totally bogus story on Sarah Jessica Parker. The tabloid reported that Parker and Matthew Broderick were in the midst of a split this summer. According to an insider, Parker "goes into boss mode" whenever she begins a new project. She then "brings it home." This narrative was unsupported by any reliable evidence, making it easy to disprove.
