Wonder Years star Danica McKellar's husband Scott Sveslosky is the Hallmark actress' perfect match. McKellar wasn't sure if she was ready for a new relationship after her divorce from Mike Verta. Sveslosky's and McKellars love was evident and they were married just two years after their first meeting.

Love at First Sight

Danica McKellar was not interested in romance after her split from Mike Verta (the man she married in 2009). The Hallmark legend admitted that it took her nearly a year to get back to dating. She explained to Closer that she needed to take time to regroup and focus on herself. "I wrote in my diary, trying to understand the events - that was healing for me - so I moved in with my mom and stayed there for two years."

McKeller gained the perspective she needed and was soon set up for dates. With Us Weekly she talked about her first meeting Scott Sveslosky. She explained that she had been separated for two years before she met him. And I was just beginning to date, and was being set up." She admitted that she was unsure.

Everything changed when she "seen him sitting at the table," however. "I knew. "I knew. I knew he was a kind, gentle soul and a wonderful person. He was all that and more. His energy was palpable and I was completely blown away."

The relationship developed quickly from there. McKellar stated that it was love at first sight. She stated that she knew she loved him instantly and they were saying "I love you" on their fourth date. "Sometimes you just know when you need it."

McKellar was right in his intuition. They knew within a few days that they were the right match. Sveslosky proposed to McKellar in 2014. McKellar described the ceremony as magical and they were married in November 2014.

Although the day was delayed and other minor calamities that are inevitable on wedding days, McKellar still managed to make McKellar's dream come true: a memorable trip down the aisle. "We tried to time it so the sun would rise as I was walking down my aisle. McKellar explained that there were delays while we were getting ready in the press room of the 2014 American Music Awards.

She continued, "I was really worried, but it turned out that there was a layer cloud right at the top the mountains, so it also delayed sunlight." "And as I was walking down my aisle, the sun rose. It was amazing. It was amazing."

Sveslosky & McKellar were a great match in many ways. Both were parents to children from previous relationships, and they were completely open to their new blended family. "Hunter is 14 and Draco is 8. We each brought a child into the marriage. They are being raised together. Their friendship is blossoming and they have so much fun. "What a blessing!" Although they share many similarities, their spouses also have differences that will no doubt keep their marriage interesting and fresh.

They lead very different lives

Danica McKellar's career as an actress has been sustained over the years, following her beloved role of Winnie Cooper in the Wonder Years. Hallmark has seen her star in many holiday-themed movies. While her husband Sveslosky is currently a lawyer, it would not surprise anyone to find out that the 45-year old had been a model before.

Although they live different lives, it is clear that the two of them are very in love with one another. This kind of love is rare and it's why McKellar took the leap again.
