Tony Romo is quickly becoming one of the most respected color commentators in the NFL. His ability to call plays before they occur is something that is quite extraordinary, but his comments have been a source of controversy. Romo decided to focus Gisele Bundchen on a lifetime achievement that Tom Brady should have been celebrated. Here's what happened.

600th Touchdown

Here's the complete list of all the NFL quarterbacks who have thrown 600 touchdown passes. This is the complete list. Mike Evans was the 600th winner. He used to give the ball to a fan wearing a jersey. This was a problem.

Brady wanted the ball to be a memento, but now a fan had it. Officials from Buccaneers immediately started negotiating to return the ball. Romo stepped in front of the camera and said, "This is where I want to get my ball back." Romo, imitating the fan and the official said that Bundchen was the key for the negotiations.

Romo said, evidently as a joke, that the fan would love "a date with Gisele." A date with Gisele is in." Romo followed up with the Bucs employee and said, "OK Tom, I will do it." Romo's suggestion that Brady should sex out his wife immediately irritated viewers.

She is a legend

Bundchen's achievements can be filled a Wikipedia page. They do, in fact. She has won numerous awards for her philanthropy and represented Brazil at the Olympics opening ceremonies. She is just as talented as Brady in different areas. Romo's joke made her fall to the same level as Brady's Super Bowl rings. It was stupid and made the entire league look bad.

They don't seem to care

It doesn't appear that Brady and Bundchen were offended. Romo's statement has not been commented upon by either Bundchen or Brady, so it doesn’t seem like they care. Brady was simply excited to return the ball and tweeted "let’s get this guy Bitcoin." He was also given autographed memorabilia.

Romo isn't very active on social media, so his silence about it is not necessarily condemning. Although this joke isn't very high-ranking, it would be quite shocking if Romo were to find himself haunted by it in any way.
