Lisa Bonet was only 16 years old when she landed her big break in Hollywood, in a guest starring role on the medical drama St. Elsewhere. But it was her turn as eldest daughter Denise Huxtable on the hit series The Cosby Show that really threw her into the spotlight.

For over a decade, Bonet had a steady career on both the big and small screen, but by the early 2000s, the star was taking fewer and fewer roles to spend more time focusing on her family.
