In 1986, Princess Diana fainted while visiting the World Exposition on Transportation and Communication in Vancouver, Canada, better known as simply "Expo '86." All eyes were on the "World's Fair"-style event that year, so Di's health issue caused quite a commotion, and led to plenty of rumors. Her husband Prince Charles attempted to make light of the situation with a joke, but it didn't go over well at all, and, in hindsight, his remarks have aged horribly. No doubt about it, Prince Charles' cruel joke about Princess Diana still stings today. Here's the story behind his Expo '86 comments, and why the People's Princess fell ill in the first place.
