Keeping track of former President Donald Trump's alliances is a tricky business. Trump has always had a talent for insulting fellow members of the GOP, and some of the people he's been the most vicious to still, somehow, support him. Sen. Ted Cruz, for example, is a major supporter (even backing his claims of a rigged 2020 election), despite the fact that Trump once mocked Cruz's wife's appearance, called him the "single biggest liar" and even suggested that Cruz's father had something to do with the JFK assassination.
