For years, Katie Couric and Matt Lauer worked together as co-anchors for NBC's "Today" show. From 1991 to 2006, Couric was a familiar face on the program before she left to anchor CBS Evening News—in the process becoming the first woman to solo anchor a network evening newscast in history. The story of Couric's career is certainly worth telling, but her upcoming tell-all, "Going There," is drawing buzz for reasons that have very little to do with her career advancements.
