Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley made a shocking announcement in the spring of 1994, announcing that they had gotten married. After several music videos and public appearances together, the couple's relationship fizzled out by December 1995, and they got divorced the following year. Some observers at the time believed the marriage to be a PR stunt to divert from accusations against Jackson, but Presley insisted it was a real relationship.
