After 25 years of service, 'General Hospital" star Sues ABC

Close up of Ingo Rademacher

Ingo Radiemacher was an icon on General Hospital and was there for almost 25 years. He was fired last month after refusing to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Rademacher is taking ABC to court. Let's find out more about this horrible breakup.

Decades of Drainage

In 1996, Jasper "Jax" Jacks made his debut on General Hospital. Rademacher has been credited in 1313 episodes over the years, making him a majorstay among mainstays. He also appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful, a soap opera show that aired for a rival station CBS. His entire career was devoted to soap operas.

This was up until last month, when ABC declared Rademacher dead. Rademacher was fired because he refused to follow the network's vaccination mandate. His politics were not secret. He made numerous social media posts shaming the left under the banner of religious freedom.

He posted an anti-trans meme on Instagram as the straw that broke his camel's back. Cassandra James, his trans-star, was directly apologetic for the post. Rademacher was a liability to ABC and the network fired him.

Going to Court

Rademacher will not be taking his dismissal lightly. Rademacher has filed numerous lawsuits for religious freedom. Rademacher sent an email to Disney stating that he is entitled to a religious exemption from mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations. He said this because he believes his body was created by God and has natural protection mechanisms.

Rademacher feels that a lifesaving vaccine is "foreign and experimental" so he has refused to be vaccinated. Rademacher may not have received any mandatory vaccines, such as Small Pox, Measles, or Small Pox. We don't even know his religion, but the Pope has supported COVID-19 vaccination.

Targeting Other People

Rademacher then attacks a nameless President. According to his lawsuit, "This should never be a political issue...there is no need for everyone to get the COVID-19 shots, even if they demand it." Joe Biden isn't the President of ABC. James Goldston is. So perhaps this was an attack on Goldston. Although it was unlikely that the decision was made without Rademacher's political views in mind, who knows?

It is not mandatory to get vaccinated. Rademacher made the right choice and is now facing the consequences. It will take time to see if this lawsuit will result in anything or if Rademacher can find employment after suing Disney.
