Amber and Johnny both premiering new films at the SAME Italian Film Festival this summer

Amber Heard will debut her new film "In The Fire" at the Taormina Film Festival.

According to Deadline the actress will promote her film in Sicily at the premiere of the film on June 24, the festival.

According to Deadline the project is a supernatural horror thriller directed by Conor Allyn. Heard portrays a psychiatrist during an era when psychiatry wasn't a scientific field.

In The Fire is a period drama set in 1899. It follows Heard, an American psychiatrist, as he travels to wealthy Colombian farm for the purpose of solving the case of a disturbed boy -- whom many think is the devil.

The psychiatrist's efforts to analyze the child become a race with the violent fears and anxieties of the townpeople.

Taormina is not only the Italian premiere of Heard's movie but also her ex Johnny Depp's new film, "Jeanne du Barry", which won critical acclaim in Cannes earlier this summer.

Last year, the former couple was in the news after their dual defamation case. They both won and lost different aspects.
