Donnie Hogan, Smith's half brother, said that he would not put it beyond him. He described their father as a "monster."

According to a friend of Anna Nicole Smith, her father tried to sleep with the model after a Playboy Party in 1993.

The Netflix documentary "Anna Nicole Smith - You Don't know Me" released on Tuesday detailed an alleged incident in which Smith's "secret female lover" Melissa "Missy Byrum" claimed that Donald Hogan "tried to have sexual relations" with Smith, then 24 years old, after their reunion following many decades of estrangement.

Byrum, a man who appeared to be emotional, said: "She told that her father tried to have sexual relations with her." "It was very sad for me to see this." She was very disappointed.

The document states that Smith hired a private investigator in 1993 to find her estranged dad. Smith and her father spoke over the phone and invited Donnie Hogan and Smith's half-brother to the Playmate of the Year Party in Los Angeles where Smith was being recognized. Smith flew both of them out and took them to the Hugh Hefner-hosted celebration at Playboy Mansion.

Byrum, however, claimed that Smith had told her Hogan tried to have sex on her after the party.

Donnie appears to have learned for the first ever about the alleged incident while being interviewed by the documentary.

"My dad? Assaulted her? It would be just like him. Is it true? He said at first, "It couldn't be," before adding that he was present every step of the journey. It could be that I wasn't present all the time.

Smith did not meet her father before she was an adult. She was raised by Hogan's mother, and was estranged from him as a child. Hogan went to prison after pleading to raping Smith’s 10-year-old Aunt.

Donnie referred to the brutal assault in the film and said that Smith's estrangement from their father had been a blessing.

He said, "My father isn't the kind of person you want to spend time alone with." You won't feel safe. "He's a beast."

Hogan died in September 2009 - two years after Smith, who died of an accidental overdose from drugs in February 2007,
