In her tweet, the singer -- who had previously expressed her displeasure at the internet's obsession over her weight -- posted a picture of her stomach bare.
Bebe Rexha responds to social media trolls, who have commented on her weight... again.
The 33-year old singer shared on Twitter a screenshot of a TikTok search suggestion about her weight. Several called her "fat."
Rexha also shared a mirror-selfie in which she lifted her shirt and revealed her stomach.
"Yes, I am in my fat age and what?" The Grammy nominee wrote.
Rexha made the comment after she spoke openly on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" about social media's obsession over her weight.
The singer of "I'm Good" (Blue) revealed that her weight gain is due to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
She told Hudson that it was one of the main reasons women gain weight or are obese. "I've literally gained 30 pounds in a matter of days, or maybe even more. But we have to be positive. "Show people you love.
The singer of "I'm a Mess", admitted to making the mistake of reading comments. This is a no-no for everyone, and for their mental health. Even knowing that, she still did it.
She said, "The first thing that came up was 'Bebe Rexha's weight gain'." "And I said... listen, it's inevitable that we gain weight in the public spotlight, especially since I was much thinner. But that comes with being in the limelight."
She said that she is not upset about the topic because "it's true." She also stated that "when you are exposed to things like this, it can affect your mental health."
She continued to stress that people need to be more considerate of those who are on the other end of their comments. She said, "You never know what someone is going through." "It's a little tough, but it feels like 2023." "We shouldn't be discussing people's weight."
Rexha opened up last month about the "bebe Rexha Weight" TikTok suggestion. She said at the time that seeing it as part of a TikTok search suggestion was "so upset" because she has "always struggled with her weight".
She said that "it's not mad because it's real," but also "it's just bad."
Fans expressed their love and support of Bebe in the comments. Many users said that Bebe, the singer of "Meant to Be", has helped them in their journey to improve their body image.
