Eilish is one of two surprise artists on the soundtrack for 'Barbie.

Billie Eilish joins the party!

In an Instagram post, the Happier than Ever artist announced that she will be contributing a song to the upcoming soundtrack of the "Barbie", film. Eilish expressed her excitement about the film, typing in capital letters "IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME."

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! What Was I Made for? Coming out on July 13th at 7am PT. ! !!!!!!! ", the artist of "Bad Guy", shared. "WE MADE THE SONG FOR BARBIEAND TO ME IT MEANS ABSOLUTELY WORRRRLLLD. This movie is going to change your life and hopefully the song will too. GET READY TO SOB @FINNEAS."

Eilish is the latest big name to be announced as part of this highly anticipated soundtrack, which will feature 17 tracks in total (one track is still to be revealed). The album includes a variety of artists from different genres who each perform their own Barbie-themed film music.

These names include Lizzo. Haim. Dominic Fike. Karol G. Khalid. Dua Lipa. Gayle. The Kid Laroi. Charli. XCX. Tame Impala. Ryan Gosling sings "I'm Just Ken", a "'80s Power Ballad", for his role as he is the male doll archetype.

Nicki Minaji, Ice Spice, and others perform their versions of the 1997 Aqua hit "Barbie Girl" on the album. The fans were initially told that this classic track would not be included in the film. However, the duo's version was presented before that.

According to producer Mark Ronson , the soundtrack is a mix of pink, hyperfeminine disco-pop. Each artist was chosen because they had a deep connection with Mattel dolls.

In a recent interview, Ronson told Time that he thought everyone was there because Greta Gerwig made this awesome film and it had all the buzz surrounding it. This [film] was very important to many people.

The full soundtrack has yet to be released, as noted. Its initial announcement, made in May, implied that "more Barbies" and "Kens" were to be announced. The film's soundtrack has yet to be revealed, but the initial announcement in May hinted that "more Barbies and Kens" would be announced.

Ronson teased about who the surprise artist might be, calling the artist "one of the greatest living artists," and saying "...had an idiosyncratic connection to Barbie.

Fans of the film speculated on social media about the identity of the surprise artist.

One fan wrote "We want Katy," in reference to Katy Perry, the pop sensation. One fan posted a picture with Miley CYrus and a pink phone. It was suggested that it might be Ariana Grand. Others wrote, "It's got to be Taylor Swift."

The cast of "Barbie", along with the star-studded music, is also a list of prominent actors. The cast includes Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Will Ferrell is also in the movie. Simu Liu. Kate McKinnon. Michael Cera. Issa Rahe. America Ferrera. Hari Nef. There may even be more surprises, just like the soundtrack.

After its world premiere, the film will be released in theaters on 21 July.
