All of it stems from a "botched” procedure she underwent in her teens.

Bristol Palin is being real about her ongoing breast reconstruction journey.

The daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, 32, shared that she has been under the knife several times after a failed procedure at 19 and had just had her ninth operation to try to fix it.

Palin uploaded a photo of her recovering from her recent surgery to her Instagram Story Wednesday. Palin was wearing a bra with surgical drains that appeared to be filling up with red liquid.

The Texas real estate agent wrote, "Sharing wayyyyyy [too many information] right now but had my 9th Breast Reconstruction Surgery last night -- yes. NINTH." All stemming out of a failed breast reduction I had at 19 years old."

"I have had several surgeries to repair the initial damage to muscle tissue and scarring. Bristol said that the whole situation made him very self-conscious throughout his adult life.

She hopes this will be her last reconstructive surgery. She explained that the ordeal had "put a setback/pause on my life and that's why have been MIA" on Social Media. According to the "Teen Mom" alum, she is trying to stay positive, keep herself upbeat, and remind herself that there are so many things to be thankful for.

Bristol said, "I am healthy and fully capable. This is just an inconvenience, cause things could always get worse."

The mom of three is not the first to open up about her cosmetics. Palin revealed that she had a tummy-tuck in May 2021 on Instagram.

The former reality star, who was then a reality TV star, revealed the scar from her surgery in a video that showed her abdomen.

Palin stated, "Let's get real reeeel" "I post what I want you to see From decent angles... not from insecurities/scars. Here's the thing I won't share: the scar from my tummy-tuck years ago.

She continued, "Comparison can be the thief all joy" -- don't let this place lead you to comparing yourself and stealing your joy."

Bristol reminded her followers with the caption: "Way222 easy to compare ourselves here, just to remind not to."
