Bruce Willis' Wife Emma Admits She's 'Not Good' in Mental Health Update as His Caregiver

Bruce Willis' Wife Emma Admits She's 'Not Good' in Mental Health Update as His Caregiver

Emma Willis, Bruce Willis' wife and daily caregiver, updates fans on her mental health struggles. Their two children as well as her husband are her inspirations to keep going.

Bruce Willis is the one who has been diagnosed with frontotemporal degeneration, but his wife and caregiver, Emma Heming Willis, feels the effects of this battle the most.

After a stroll, the former model stopped to check in on her followers. She admitted that caring for her spouse is taking a toll her mental health. All caregivers face this challenge, so it is important to practice self-care.

In the video, she said: "I think it's important that we break up our thinking which, for me can feel very much like doom-and-gloom," "I know that it appears I'm living my best life. Every day I must make an effort to live my best life.

She stated that her motivation for doing this is to support her husband and children. Bruce and Emma have two daughters: Mabel, 11 and Evelyn.

She said Bruce "wouldn't want me to live in any other way." Emma also wants people to know that, even though it might look one way from the outside, the appearance of something can be deceiving or misleading.

She admitted, "I do not want to be misunderstood as being good. I am not." "I'm not good."

She asked her followers to send her pictures of beautiful things. She told her followers, "I do my best to always be the best I can." Your pictures make me happy.

She said that it could be just as important for them as for her. She said, "I want you to stop for a second and look at something beautiful."

Emma ended her message by making a note that all caregivers should take to heart. The message is the same as on an airplane: Always secure your oxygen mask before helping others.

She said, "I must do my best for me and my family." When we don't take care of ourselves, we can't look after those we love. It is important to make a conscious effort.

In her caption, she acknowledged that she does not have this "down a fine art," but she has never stopped trying. She noted that it's a daily affirmation she uses. It's always at the top of my mind.

Emma is also helping Bruce care for his ex-wife Demi Moor, their three adult daughters Rumer Scout and Tallulah. Bruce was first diagnosed with aphasia in the spring of last year. This has now evolved into his current diagnosis of dementia.

Frontotemporal dementia can cause communication difficulties, including difficulty speaking and writing. Bruce gave up his acting career in order to fight this battle.
