Caitlyn shares the promise that she made to Khloe’s late father Robert Kardashian in a Facebook post she shared celebrating her former stepson's birthday.

Khloe Kim Kardashian celebrated 39th birthday last week. Among the many birthday messages that she received, one was from Caitlyn Jenniferner.

Jenner shared a throwback photo from Khloe and Lamar Odom's wedding, with a heartfelt caption.

Jenner wrote: "Happy Birthday @khloekardashian. Being your stepfather has been and continues to be one of the greatest blessings that your mother ever gave me."

She continued, "I promised to your father that I'd do my best to be there for all of you children. I know I am not perfect but I love you forever and will always cherish you." I hope that your day will be filled with love for your children and happiness.

Khloe replied to the message with "I love You !!!!!!"" on her Instagram story.

Kris Jenner was married to Robert Sr. between 1978 and 1991. The couple then divorced. Kris married Caitlyn in the same year, and they were married for 15 years.

Robert Kardashian Sr. died in 2003 at the age 59, after a battle with cancer.

Both Khloe & Caitlyn spoke about their strained relationships in the past. Caitlyn claimed that Khloe had been "pissed about the entire process" of her transformation, but Khloe said this wasn't true, and that Jenner was speaking about Kris.

Khloe said, "I think Caitlyn deserves to be proud of everything she does and the strength it takes to do this on such a large platform." "That being said, Caitlyn doesn't need to tear anyone else down in order to build herself up," said Khloe.

Khloe has said in 2021 that there is no beef between the two and they don't speak much because "we are busy." Caitlyn is still a part of the family, as she attended Kourtney’s extravagant holiday party in December.
