After Camila's support, Senorita fans are pushing for the singers of Senorita to reunite.

After leaving a supportive comment in Shawn Mendes’ Instagram post, Camila Cabello fuelled reconciliation rumors.

Mendes posted a video on Tuesday of him listening to a small part of a new song. Later, the clip was transformed into a behind-the scenes look at the studio.

The teaser was captioned by Cabello, 23, "Y'all dig it?" Cabello replied by referring to the movie "High School Musical", "Ur crazy Wildcat".

The small exchange was a huge success and fans urged the couple to reunite. One Instagram user commented, "Naaa [sic] just get together asap." Another fan complimented the pair for being "civilized", empathetic, and supportive despite their split.

After dating for over two years, the couple shared a joint statement on Instagram that announced their separation.

The statement said, "Hey guys! We've decided that we will end our relationship in love but that our love for each other as human beings is stronger than ever." "We began our relationship as best friends, and we will continue to be best buddies."

"We are grateful for your support and will continue to work together. They concluded, "Camila and Shawn."

Fans were shocked to hear the news. The couple appeared to be doing well -- even posting coordinated Dia De Los Muertos costumes on November 1st.

The couple has been together since 2019 when they got together. When Mendes and Cabello collaborated on "Senorita," there was speculation of a potential romance. The pair made it official shortly after the music video was released.

In July 2021, they celebrated their two-year anniversary by posting tributes to each other on their respective Instagram accounts.

Camila captioned her post with "Happy anniversary Kuko." Here's to more joy and more friendship," and Shawn just wrote at that time, "Happy 2 year my baby!"

They spent most of the coronavirus pandemic quarantined in Miami together, to be near Camila's family.

Interview with Zane Lowe November 2020. The "Wonder" singer described the experience as a "really beautiful event."

"It was my first time being quiet. I was able, for the first time, to feel like, 'What's happening in this world? How do I feel about it? And what can I do to make this better?' Mendes confessed. Mendes confessed, "That was the greatest gift I believe I've ever received in my entire life."
