Carrie moves on from Big, just like that Finale Recap.

Carrie moves on from Big, just like that Finale Recap.

Miranda explodes her life before Samantha's big breakthrough.

And then, it was over.

The revival of "Sex and the City", although it has not been officially approved, could have Thursday's finale serve as an end to the show. There are still plenty of threads left for a second season, and we feel like we haven’t seen the last Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte.

Warning! We are about to enter spoiler territory. If you haven't already seen the episode, please stop reading.

The entire season was about Carrie's grief over the loss of her husband, Mr. Big. Viewers have witnessed her deal with grief, return to her brownstone and attempt to start dating again.

After a couple's disastrous first date, which saw both of them throwing up on each other, and another in which they split up immediately after meeting up again, Carrie and Peter, a widowed math teacher, decided to give it one more go. The date ended with a sweet kiss outside her house and, thankfully, neither party vomited. Although they agreed that they did a good job for two people who were heartbroken, Carrie was not feeling the spark afterward.

After the date, she texted Samantha to say that she had kissed someone new. Samantha said, "The first of many," before asking Samantha how it was. Carrie said, "It wasn’t Big," and Samantha laughed, "So it was small." Carrie asked her if she would like to talk over the phone. She simply answered, "Soon." After their fall-out over the second movie and the new series, it's obvious that the frost between them is starting to melt. Samantha still has reservations about getting back into the friendship.

Carrie began to think about what she would do with John's remains after meeting with Big's brother. She had a dream that she was in Paris and heard Todd Rundgren's "Hello It’s Me" as Big's favorite song. Chris Noth was clearly meant to be in the dream sequence. Carrie turned to see someone and said that he appeared to him in her sleep the next day. However, he was removed from the final after sexual assault allegations against him were dropped.

Carrie was reassured by the dream that he had died in a dream, and she should exhume his remains at Paris' Pont des Arts bridge. This bridge is where he said he loved her. It is also the place where obituary of his death marks one year. She did exactly that.

She was dressed in an orange gown and hot pink gloves. After releasing her husband's ashes from the Eiffel Tower clutch, she wept as she crossed the Seine. She also had some closure with Samantha, who is from Paris. Samantha asked Carrie if she would like to meet up for a drink. Samantha responded, "How's tomorrow night?" Carrie's reaction: "FABULOUS." Kim Cattrall wasn't there, and probably never will. But at least we know that all is well between these two former friends.

The episode ended with Carrie hosting her podcast on relationship advice, titled "Sex and the City", after Che left their other show. (More details in a moment).

Although we only saw them speak two to three times throughout the season, it was clear that they had chemistry. After their first podcast, Carrie and Franklin shared a moment in an elevator before she grabbed Franklin for a kiss. The episode ended with Carrie getting her mojo back, with a job that she loves and a man that excites her. John Corbett started the Aidan Shaw rumors, but they never materialized. Perhaps next season!

Both Charlotte and Miranda had more to their stories than the latter, due to her relationship to Che.

Miranda was excited to meet Che's family when she started the episode. When she, Diaz, and Che met up at a bar, Che dropped a bomb by singing "California Girls", a Beach Boys song, on the microphone. She revealed that they were heading to Los Angeles to film an episode of a television pilot. Although Miranda was annoyed that Che didn't speak with her privately or give her an advance warning before breaking the news, she decided to leave her life and follow her other half to Los Angeles.

Che ended the podcast and Miranda informed Nya her professor that she would be finishing her semester remotely. She also gave up her internship at Human Rights Watch. Nya was selfishly disappointed, only because she hoped they would hang out more while her husband was on tour. Miranda was also disappointed after Nya pulled strings to get her internship. However, she was supportive.

Carrie was not 100% on board with the news, and wondered what Miranda would be doing while Che was working on a pilot television program. Although Carrie was clearly disappointed by the sudden changes in her friend's lives, some advice from a transrabbi who listened to their arguments from inside a toilet stall helped them both see that their friendship was "valuable and worthy of protecting."

Miranda was last seen in Los Angeles, rocking her red hair.

Charlotte was a total freak about Rock's "they mitzvah", for which she was completely unprepared. Rock gave up on the day-of, and Charlotte got her bat mitzvah instead.

Watch the entire season of "And Just Like That ..." on HBO Max.
