The actress revealed to Allure that she loves the way her face changes and ages, as well as why she will "never again" go through a weight-loss transformation for a film role.

The actress, who was promoting her Dior L'Or de J'Adore fragrance campaign, opened up to Allure about how she's accepted the changes in her face and body as she's aged, and denied any rumors of plastic surgery, specifically a facial lift.

Theron said, "My face changes, and I love the fact that my face changes and ages." "[But] I think people think I have a facelift. They ask, "What did she do with her face?"

"I was like, 'Bitch! I'm only aging.' This doesn't mean that I had bad plastic surgery. "This is what happens," she said.

The Oscar-winning actress called out the dual standards in how men and woman age.

She said, "I have always been bothered by the idea that men age like fine wine and women like cut flower." "I hate that idea and want to fight it. But I also believe women want to age the way they feel is right for them. I think that we should be more understanding of how each person goes through their journey. "My journey of seeing my face on a large billboard has become quite humorous now."

Theron then explained why she will "never again" undergo a dramatic weight loss for a movie role as she did in Monsterand Tully.

"I'll never, ever again do a film and say 'Yeah I'll gain forty pounds'. She told Allure, "I will never do it because you cannot take it off." When I was 27, I did monster. and I lost 30 pounds overnight. "I missed three meals, and I was back at my normal weight."

She added, "I did it again at 43, for Tully. I called my doctor after a year of trying to lose weight and said, "I'm afraid I'm going to die because I can't lose this weight." "And he said, 'You are over 40.'" Calm down. You metabolism has changed. No one wants to hear this."

The FastXstar, who is also the mother of August and Jackson, said that her children "have no idea what age is."

Theron said, "They don't know whether she is in her 20s, 60s, or even if they are in their 20s. They just like the clothes they wear or think that they look pretty. It's so great. "I wish we could maintain that."
