In the original title, the book was called "incorrect". It used a line from Britney's hit "...Baby one more time.
Britney Spears, pop superstar, appeared to make a subtle remark at Jamie Lynn Spears, her younger sister.
Jamie Lynn shared on Instagram Monday that she couldn't believe she had finally completed her book. "THINGS THAT I SHOULD'VE SAID" has been in development for a while.
According to Worthy Publishing's July announcement, the book was originally called "I Must Confess": Family, Fame and Figuring It Out. Following a backlash over the lyrics to "I Must Confess", Britney's first hit "...Baby one more time, Worthy Publishing issued a statement claiming that the title had been incorrectly released online.
The company stated that they deeply regretted the publication of incorrect or incomplete information regarding Jamie Lynn's book in the public domain, especially at this difficult time for Jamie Lynn and her families.
Britney posted a response to her sister's post on Instagram, apparently to shade Jamie Lynn over the title revision.
"Psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss The post was captioned by the "Toxic” singer. "Option #1... I don't know. Option #2... I care about what people think !!!! What do you guys think ????"?
Britney's comments section was flooded with fans. One person posted, "The things that my sister shouldn’t have said," while another wrote: "Lmaoooo, I live for this shade."
After claiming that none of her family had supported her during her long conservatorship, the pop icon vented her frustrations to her family.
Britney posted an Instagram message about Jamie Lynn. She stated that she didn’t like that her sister Jamie Lynn showed up at an award show and performed "MY SONGS To Remixes" referring to the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards, where Jamie Lynn performed a tribute.
"My so-called support system hurt me deeply... "My so-called support system hurt me deeply...
In a separate post, she said that "There's nothing worse" than for your closest friends to not show up for you.
Britney's father Jamie was resigned as her conservator last month after he had been controlling her financial and personal decisions for 13 years. Britney is currently under conservatorship, even though there are plans to end the conservatorship. A hearing will take place on November 12, during which a judge will determine whether the conservatorship will be ended altogether.
