Marco Rubio claims that Brian Laundrie may still be hiding in the Carlton Reserve. Dog The Bounty Hunter will not find him.

He is a Florida senator and Acting Chair for the Senate Intelligence Committee. This gives him a double interest in this case... but he doesn't plan to spend money on Duane Chapman resolving it.

Laundrie is still the only person of interest in the investigation into Gabby Petito's death.

He has been evading authorities for over a month; if he is hiding in Rubio's 25,000-acre nature reserve Rubio, he understands why it takes so long to locate him... but he believes that it is only a matter time before Laundrie is forced out.

He said, "It looks like all the authorities want him. But this guy's out here you know living off of the woods. Nobody knows where he is. We don't have any caves in Florida, but we do have big National Parks or something."

It's different than when you're looking for someone who is going to gas stations, using an ATM card, or using credit cards. You have video surveillance. He'll eventually be located. "Eventually, you'll have to get out."

He said, "I hope they find the guy" and that he could get answers for his poor family.

Senator Rubio did not condemn Laundrie's parents for their silence but said he would be asking questions if they were him.

He said, "I don’t want to judge them, but I think there are a lot questions about what happened early." "It's like your son goes off with his girlfriend and returns without her. I would be asking questions. It's unclear how cooperative they were with the police."

"But I'll let that to the authorities... suffice to it to say that this guy needs to been found one way or another, you're never going to get an answer and there's no justice until this individual is located."

He said, "When you're covering vast territory like that, if there's only one person and they don’t want to being found, you know they can be gone for some time." It's not possible to live there forever, it's my opinion.

"At some point, this guy's going to have to come out to something, show up somewhere. And I hope he's in Florida, can be found, and hasn’t figured out how to leave the country. This is always a concern.

Rubio is not convinced that Dog smells him out.

"I have never seen him bounty hunt someone in the Everglades, or whatever. You know, that's another thing. But when you're out in Florida's swamp, or hiding in an apartment, one thing is different.

"You just have to smoke him out. Wait until he comes out for the pot, you know. Because eventually, you'll need to come out. It's impossible to stay out there forever.
