Ezra Miller Lashes Out After Protective Order Expires Regarding Past Allegations of Inappropriate Behavior

The protective order that was filed by the mother of the minor against Ezra Miller has now expired. The "The Flash' star speaks out on being "unjustly targeted" and continues to focus their attention on their health.

Ezra MIller, who said a few words at the "The Flash premiere, has made a much more substantive -- and heated -- declaration on the anniversary of the protective order that was filed against them. He called the order "unjustly targeted"

According to the Daily Beast, the order was issued on June 30, 2022, by the mother who claimed that the defendants had acted inappropriately towards the child at the time and harassed the family.

Miller wrote in a long statement on their Facebook that she was "encouraged by today's result and grateful to all who stood with me to stop this egregious abuse of the protection order."

They continued to say that protective orders were meant to "provide protection" to those "in danger." Referring to the one that was filed against them, MIller said, "They're not meant to serve as weapons for those who are seeking attention, temporary tabloid fame, or personal vengeance, when it is people in dire need."

Miller continued to say that they were "unjustly and directly attacked by an individual whose history has shown such destructive and manipulative actions." Miller then urged the media to take the time to look for the facts rather than chase the clicks.

The star then wrote: "I want to let everyone know that, on a personal level, I continue to do everything I can to maintain my health and to undo the collateral damage caused by this ordeal for me and my family."

Miller's statement concluded with: "Finally I want to thank all of you who have been so brave to support me and to make it to this point. I will take a lot of time to try to explain what it means to me to have you as a friend." "You have my love, respect and undying gratitude."

Miller's lawyer Marissa Elkins said in a statement released to Deadline that the restraining orders were "based on false allegations." She stressed that Miller "was never alone with the children and had only two brief interactions with them, which took place with several other adults present."

Miller sought treatment two months after filing the original complaint and amid other controversies. He cited "complex mental issues." Miller apologized for their actions and stated that they would continue to do so.

Miller thanked his fans and supporters at the premiere of 'The Flash' for their support. Warner Bros. was also there for them. Discovery put a lot into the film and expected it to be an industry-changing blockbuster. It flopped hard instead, leaving Miller's future and the DC Universe in doubt.

The new DCU leaders James Gunn & Peter Safran have a strategy of starting from scratch. They just announced the new Superman, David Corenswet who will replace Henry Cavill. The DC multiverse was explored by "The Flash", which tied together everything. This means that there is room for everyone.

Miller's controversies from a year earlier are cited by American fans as a reason for their rejection of the film. According to reports, Miller was seen choking and harassing a woman in a bar. He also threw a chair at a couple, attacked them in their own home, groomed a neighbor and stole alcohol.

Over 1500 cinemas screened "The Flash" over the weekend. The film did not perform well in its first week. It only brought in $55 millions, falling short of the predicted $70-75million. Box office revenue dropped by more than 70% in the second weekend. This is despite a production budget of $200-$220 millions and an extra $100 million spent on marketing.

If you can locate it, "The Flash" has just hit the theaters.
