Blake Shelton's Christmas gifts may include live animals

The 46-year old country singer shared the story of an unexpected gift that he gave Jennifer Hudson and her family during their time together hosting "The Voice" several years ago.

"Do you still remember the gift that you gave me?" Hudson, 41, asked "God's Country", artist Hudson, if he remembered the gift he gave him. Hudson laughed and said, "Oh yes, I do remember." It was actually given to my son."

The EGOT winner revealed that Shelton had "sent a whole goat" to him before he started to tell the story about how he decided on giving Hudson's son David Daniel Otunga Jr. a farm animals.

Their families often hung out on the set together when Hudson and Blake were judges of "The Voice." Blake, now 13, said that David Daniel asked him where he could buy a goat backstage.

He explained that it was fall season, and that it was at this time of the year. "I believe I asked you at one point, and I replied, "I really would love to get him a goat Christmas." He was thrilled when he received a pygmy goat.

Their season on "The Voice" ended, but Shelton was still charged with finding a way to send a live animal for Jennifer's son.

Shelton laughed, "I wasn’t gonna meet y’all, so I had, like, to get an airplane to fly that freaking goat from Oklahoma City to Chicago." "It was a first-class experience for this goat."

Star of "Dreamgirls", Shelton admitted that Shelton's gift was "one the most memorable Christmases for me kid ever", before they decided to name the goat Prancer.

Jennifer and David Otunga share David Daniel. Hudson and Otunga welcomed their first child back on Aug. 10, 2009. Hudson and Otunga ended their decade-long relationship in November 2017.
