Ben Higgins, a former Bachelor, is now a bachelor. People first reported that the reality star married Jessica Clarke at The Estate in Cherokee Dock, near Nashville.

The couple assured the outlet all their guests had been vaccinated against Covid or had tested negative in recent weeks. This included Bachelor Nation alums Wells Adams, Ashley Iaconnetti and Jared Haibon, Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs.

Clarke and Higgins were engaged for the first time in March 2020. This was just as the COVID-19 pandemic began to alter the world's landscape. In 2018, they met for the first time via social media.

Clarke and Higgins shared personal vows during their special day. The ceremony also featured readings from scripture and Winnie-the-Pooh, which Clarke selected.

Higgins posted a photo of himself with Clarke a few days before the wedding. He was smiling and showing off his stunning engagement ring. He captioned the image, "My heart is at peace" and "My amazement continues that Jessica Clarke gets to marry me."

He continued, "She brings me to praises and thankfulness every day (for the past 3 years)", he said. "This is what I've prayed for, this is what my family has prayed about, and we will celebrate!"

His followers were promised photos and videos, but his first vow was that he would put his phone down so he could be present at his wedding weekend. It helped that People was updating him on his wedding, which he also happily promoted.

He said, "I am so excited," to the outlet. "We have so many things to look forward too. We will have a wonderful marriage, I am certain.

He also shared People's photos from the event to his Instagram Stories as well as congratulations by Chris Harrison (former "Bachelor") and Lauren Zima, so he wasn’t completely off his phone.

Clarke began sharing lots of candids from her wedding day to her Instagram Stories on Sunday. These included behind-the scenes moments of Clarke getting her hair and preparing for her big walk down the aisle.
