He described viewers as "kind" for their consideration of multiple seasons and new iterations.

Jason Sudeikis said that it was hard to say goodbye "Ted Lasso".

The 47-year old actor spoke out to Deadline about his original intent to finish his Emmy-winning Apple TV series with the third episode.

Sudeikis stated that fans might want more but the next episodes wrap up the comedy series in a way he hopes they can accept and understand.

Sudeikis stated, "This is the ending of the story that we wanted, that was hoping to tell and that we loved to tell." It's flattering to know that people will be curious about more than they already know.

He said, "Maybe by May 31 when all 12 episodes have been released, they're like, "Man, you know, we get it. We're fine. We have everything we need. "But until then, I will continue to appreciate the curiosity that we have shown."

Star reports that there has been talk of possible spin-offs. Sudeikis' cocreators Bill Lawrence and Brendan Hunt are open to the idea. Joe Kelly is also open to it.

He said, "Yeah. I think we've set up the table for all kinds of people...to watch the further tellings of these stories."

Sudeikis reaffirmed his surprise at the fans' reception to Ted Lasso's show: "Again, it's hard not but take the question in flattery for all of the people that were involved in the show's creation."

He called viewers "kind" because they considered multiple seasons and new versions of the beloved show.

The actor said that you never know what might happen when you do something. "It's wonderful that people are willing to do more, even if it is a different route.

The premiere of season three of Apple TV's Ted Lasso will be March 15.
