Jax Taylor, a former SUR bartender who was a founding member of "Vanderpump Rules", is already involved with rumored spinoff series that will shift the focus from partying and drinking to family life. He'll be working alongside his wife Brittany Cartwright as well as Kristy Doute.
Jax Taylor may be returning to Bravo's reality TV universe, but it could just be in "Vanderpump Rules".
Jax has been talking about , bringing it just a few short days after being associated with the reported spin-off. The reality star might have spilled some beans at Ocean Resort's 5-year-old birthday celebration.
Deadline revealed that after a huge "Scandoval", "Vanderpump Rules," is expanding to include a spinoff focusing more on family life. The spinoff would also reportedly feature Jax's wife Brittany Cartwright, their child and fellow cast member Kristen Doute.
Jax said to partygoers in Ocean's Resort that he was there to drink, take photos and talk Vanderpump. "I'll bring it to those who need it." Sorry, I spoke too much.
According to an insider at the outlet, he didn't seem too upset, but rather was smiling and enjoying himself.
Perhaps "Pump rules" is looking at a pilot-style approach for its upcoming spinoff. The original cast members may return to the parent show before spinning off their own stories. We can expect a lot of crossovers between the crib and the club scenes, since they are all friends.
It could also be that Jax was referring to a spin-off which would still fall under the "Pump rules" universe.
TomTom has released footage of several cast members, including Lisa Vanderpump and Lala Kent. Jax is not yet visible, but he may still appear.
The two main figures in the "Scandoval," which exploded across the country, were also absent: Tom Sandoval, Raquel Levy.
Raquel, who admitted that she and Sandoval lied about the timeline of their relationship at the reunion, is still reportedly in treatment. Sandoval currently films Season 2 of Fox’s “Special Forces.” It's probably best to take a little break from these two actors and the rest.
Brittany and Jax left the show 2020 when Brittany became pregnant with her first child. Kristen, Stassi Schröder and others were also booted from the show at that time for filing a fake police report against Faith Stowers as well as making racist remarks. Stassi, according to reports, is not involved in the spin-off.
Jax tweeted that Brittany had also committed a criminal act. However, the departure of Jax and Brittany was muddier, as they both claimed that it was their choice to leave and that Bravo may have had a hand in their statement.
Jax and Brittany, despite leaving the show, had much to say about "Scandoval", talking about it extensively in social media, on various podcats and for Peacock’s "Watch Me." The couple said they were happy with the project, and that it was fun to have cameras and crew again. This could be a hint at a return of reality TV.
