After experiencing paralysis in her legs, the former star of adult films was admitted to the hospital.

Jenna Jameson was suddenly unable to walk and was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.

Lior Bitton, her husband, told Jameson's Instagram followers that she went to the hospital after feeling "not so well". He said the 47-year old had been "throwing up" for several weeks.

Jenna was released from the hospital after a CT scan showed no abnormalities. She was then sent home.

Bitton posted an Instagram video saying that Bitton was unable to carry herself after she returned home. "Her legs and muscles were weak." She couldn't walk to the toilet. She would fall on her way back, or to the toilet. I had to lift her up and take her to the bed. Then, after two days, it became really bad. Her legs stopped holding her and she couldn't walk anymore.

She was accompanied by her husband back to the hospital, where doctors performed a spinal tap as well as an MRI. On Sunday, medical professionals were able to diagnose her with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

Guillain Barre is a rare neurological disorder in which the body's immune system misunderstands and attacks the nervous systems. This causes temporary paralysis and muscle weakness.

Jameson is receiving IVIg, despite the fact that the severity of the condition can vary between people.

Bitton posted the following update to her Instagram Story: "She's going start the treatment for that." It's at the hospital. She's doing physical therapy to stand on her legs. However, she can't stand right now. They are starting treatment to see how it goes. Keep praying.

Jameson took to Instagram Monday to check in with her fans.

"I am still in the hospital. And we've gotten some answers. Guillain Barre Syndrome is a condition that I have. I am currently working on it. "I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been reading all of your DM's, and how much I appreciate them," ex-adult film star said.
