Jennifer Coolidge & Christopher Costars discuss Why Gays are 'Obsessed' (Exclusive).

Single All the Way stars reflect on Britney Spears's film and Jennifer Coolidge.

Jennifer Coolidge, a gay Netflix holiday romcom called "Single All the Way," remarks that gays are "always obsessed" with her. A quick glance at Twitter shows that Coolidge is very much in that position.

Coolidge is most well-known for her appearance on "The White Lotus", but Coolidge has been an icon of gay pride for many years. This is due to her sexy work in Christopher Guest films such as "Best In Show" or her scenes-stealing roles in "Legally Blonde", and "American Pie".

Coolidge will tell you why she is so respected within the queer community.

During a junket to promote the film, she said that "I believe it's very mutual." "I believe people will like you back if you like them. It has been an unconscious choice. Growing up, it was almost as if I was an unaware child. But I found myself gravitating towards gay men and gay women like this was my community.

She continued, "It makes so much sense that it kind of becomes a mutual affair."

Kathy Najimy, a Costar -- another queer actress who is loved by the community for her roles in "Hocus Pocus," and "Sister Act", said that she has been an ally of the LGBTQIA community from her teen years. She joked that she's "forced" her way into the gay community, asking them to like her. She compared herself to Coolidge and said she believed both of them "represent the outer circles," making them more attractive to potential outcasts.

"I believe that she is amongst the pantheonof great female icons that gays love," said Michael Urie, a costar. He first credited Coolidge for Coolidge’s "glamorous” persona. She is fearless and constantly surprises. This is Jennifer Coolidge.

Urie stated that the script, written by Chad Hodge, was written with Urie in mind for the role she ultimately took on. He added, "Like, when I read the script, it said 'Enter Aunt Sandy [Think Jennifer Coolidge ]" Chad Hodge wanted her, wrote for her, and always wanted to give her something special.

Urie, who is "someone who has seen every movie she's made," said that he knew what Coolidge would bring when she arrived on set. However, he was still shocked at the end.

She'll surprise you more often than you think. He concluded that he believes that gays will always appreciate that fact, from Judy Garland and Jennifer Coolidge. "They're going up there, knock it out the park, and they're completely going to surprise you while doing so."

Philemon Chambers (Urie's possible love interest in the movie), agreed with him and said Coolidge was "so unexpected each moment" that she's on set.

"When you watch Jennifer Coolidge in film, you think, "Oh my god, is she like that?" It's like, it's not she's like this," he joked. He also said that he believes she's a "shapeshifter", due to her "many layers to her". A quick Coolidge impression was also done by him. You can see it in the video below.

Jennifer Robertson, a "Schitt's creek" alum, is now collecting Christopher Guest collaborators such as Infinity Stones. Coolidge will be her first time working with Coolidge after she costarred with Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy for many years on the Canadian comedy.

"Jennifer's talent is amazing and I wish I could have been there with Kathy and Jennifer. They are both amazing. Jennifer is very funny. "Very challenging and very difficult to not become an audience member. Just watch her beautiful comedy just kind of fall out of you.

Robertston called Coolidge "so kind, generous, and kind," and revealed that the scene in which Coolidge claims the gays are obsessed was the first scene they actually filmed together. Robertson said, "It was such an amazing scene." She's an icon, and she's incredible. It was amazing to be with her. She did quite a bit of improv which was a great way to get everyone laughing."

Britney Spears is another beloved female performer that gets much-deserved praise in the film. There are no spoilers, but Britney Spears' underrated holiday song "My One Wish (This Year)," is a key scene in the film. It's a great song, and Urie was happy to sing along with it. She also performed a choreographed dance in the movie.

He joked that it was so wonderful that she is free and that we are giving her money. This was to celebrate Spears' end of conservatorship. "This song...it is it is it is underestimated. It was something I didn't know. It was definitely something I heard before, but it has never been played. This is great pop Christmas music.

He said, "I'm so glad we have it in movie and it's such an amazing moment, a wonderful dance," and he continued, "especially now that she is free and she will be back, and maybe she'll even feel like doing something." She might even perform!

We all hope for a followup Christmas jam by Ms. Britney Jean. But the stars of "Single All the Way," are already considering a sequel. This is not surprising, given all the "Princess Switch” movies.

Chambers stated, "I would love to see a sequel because there just needs more films like these." "The fact that these characters are going on this journey, and how sweet and nice it is. You have Jennifer Coolidge, Barry Bostwick, Katherine Bostwick, Michael Urie, and Barry Bostwick.

"This movie has so many great characters. You aren't satisfied when it's over. Urie said that you desire more and more combinations. I need more! We need more Coolidge, more seeds, more Coolidge, more Najimy. There's so much to be done, so there are many possibilities for characters and stories. Let's do more.

Robertson might have the best pitch out of all.

Michael and I have talked about it. We'd love to see a sequel, a third-quel and a fourth-quel. Robertston joked, "Um, we go Hawaii -- I'm just going to pick places that I want to visit." "Um, we go to Hawaii with the family, and there's also a wedding. Obviously. We need the episode on weddings, we need... We need the wedding episode, I don't know... they must go, maybe like an X-Men. We might become the next X-men."

Netflix will release "Single All the Way," December 2.
