The "Dance Moms'" alum talks about her dating struggles after growing up as an child star. She admits that she feels "very far behind in the love world."

JoJo is being honest about her sexual life.

During a recent podcast appearance, the Internet personality - who came out in January 2021 as a member the LGBTQIA+ Community - recalled a funny story about a time when she buttdialed her father while she was having intimate relations with someone.

It's my third date with this partner. JoJo, a 19-year-old, shared, "It's fun, I am happy, and I'm having a great time." "Next day, my father comes up to tell me, 'So, you had fun last evening. You called me last night.

JoJo said, "Now, I have a new rule: I will never use my phone again because I buttdialed dad."

Nickelodeon's alumna explained that her relationship is unique, not just because she's famous but also because she was a child actor.

JoJo admitted, "I have only ever had sex privately in my room...or in my hotel room." "I don’t know what normal teens do, but I assume -- a bathroom cubicle -- whatever. "But because of who am I, I can't."

She called dating "wacky and weird," and said, "It's difficult for me, for the person I am dating or talking to because I can't even do certain things."

The singer said, "How many people can have a date for dinner, but I cannot go out on a date. I can go on a dinner date, but I need to call the restaurant and ask for a private dining room. It's fantastic."

JoJo brought up the subject of her family life. She noted that while most 19-year olds "freshly move" out of their parent's house, her mother and father live with her. She said she loves her current living situation, but she also admitted she feels she has "missed a lot".

She made her first appearance on reality television at the age of nine, when she took part in "Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition."

JoJo, who was homeschooled and did not have the experience of a traditional high school education, feels "very far behind" in terms of dating and relationships.

"I was homeschooled and graduated at 15 years old. "My life was very, very different and I would not change it for anything," said she. I'm behind the times in terms of dating. Most people will go to the freshman dance with their date and then go to homecoming. They go to the prom 14 times and go to the prom at another school. Then, they have a summer affair and they hook up in their car in the parking lot.

JoJo dated Katie Mills, a TikTok celebrity and Avery Cyrus. She called out some of her ex-girlfriends last month for what she considered red flags. Here's what she said.
