Juliana said that she would never, ever be mad if a lesbian played straight women.

Julianna Margulies was open about her lesbian role in "The Morning Show" on Apple TV+.

The actress was asked by "Just for Variety" on Wednesday if she had thought about the backlash that could result from playing a gay role in light of the recent call for LGBTQ+ actors being cast in LGBTQ+ roles.

Dean Cain doesn't think Superman's Coming Out as Bisexual is 'Bold or Brave.

"Who's to deny that I've had my own gay experiences?" Margulies, married to Keith Lieberthal since 2007, said: "We are making assumptions."

I know that there was some anxiety about "will lesbian actresses get angry?" She said that she was not angry at lesbians playing straight women, but she did admit to it.

Margulies is Laura Peterson on "The Morning Show" and eventually marries Bradley Jackson's Reese Witherspoon. Former "ER" star Margulies said that she was thrilled to see a female character in the production. This would "upset" the balance between Witherspoon's character and Jennifer Aniston, Alex Levy.

She said, "Hats off to you, because the truth of the matter is that women are more afraid than men." They dress for women. We don't dress for women. We dress for one another. We want to impress one another more.

"It made so much sense and I thought, "Ah, a show which gets women." This is fantastic.

Margulies' Laura is the one who meets the audience. She has worked hard to get back at the top of journalism after being exposed. Margulies expressed appreciation for the rich backstory.

"I love her being completely comfortable in her skin and having no ulterior motives. She doesn't harbor any hidden agendas. She is the only character that doesn't have any hidden agendas on that show.

Margulies said that a third season for "The Morning Show," has not yet been announced. I'd be back in no time.
