Kate Middleton launched ShapingUs, her latest campaign to encourage early childhood development. The Princess of Wales shared a rare photo from her childhood with her father to celebrate the launch of ShapingUs, her latest campaign.

The photo shows Middleton, an infant reaching out to touch Michael her father's face. Before explaining ShapingUs to her followers, she wrote "Faces are a baby’s best toy" in her caption.

ShapingUs was established to "raise awareness about the vital role that our early years play for shaping our lives," she explained. The princess encouraged her followers to spend time with their families, friends, and colleagues, talking about their early childhoods and how they shaped their lives.

She concluded, "I hope that you'll also consider joining us in sharing a photo of yourself before your fifth birthday to help those conversations and to share some smiling and fond memories too."

Middleton is continuing her work in early childhood development. The campaign will be part of the ongoing efforts of Middleton. Buckingham Palace provided Middleton with a statement explaining why she has made this her passion project.

She said, "The way that we develop through our experiences, relationships and environment during our early childhood shapes the rest of our lives."

It affects everything, from our ability to make relationships and thrive at work to our mental and bodily well-being as adults to the way that we parent our children."

Middleton asked others to "build a supportive and nurturing world around our youngest members of society and those caring about them" to make the world a better place for future generations.

The Duchess of Cambridge stated that "all of society has an obligation to contribute, even if they aren't directly involved in the child's lives, because we all have a responsibility for creating a world where children can learn, grow and thrive."

"In these difficult times it is more important than ever for parents and caregivers to provide safe and secure homes that allow their children and babies to thrive."

Middleton is passionate about her work in childhood development. She is committed to supporting parents and caregivers. This is her latest campaign, and it's just one of many ways she is trying to spread awareness about this crucial stage in a child’s life.
