Kim Kardashian is dedicated to improving the lives of mothers in the United States.

The 42-year old reality star has revealed that she has partnered with Michael Rubin, co-chairman of REFORM Alliance, to pay the legal fees for more than 50 mothers on probation or parole in the United States.

After being on probation or parole, these women accrued their fees. These costs can be a major obstacle for mothers, and they can hinder their progress and prevent them from caring for their children.

Kardashian said that the women chosen had shown progress in their rehabilitation, and had a track record of proven success. Only their unpaid financial obligations remained as roadblocks.

The Skims founder captioned an Instagram Reel: "Thousands of mothers have been placed on probation or parole because they cannot afford to pay their fines and fees, restitutions, or restitutions." While on probation, they face the constant threat of being sent back to prison for technical infractions like missing a probation officer's meeting.

Rubin and Sherry hope that now the women have no debt, they can "give them the second chance" they deserve.

The Reel included a Zoom discussion that included Kardashian and Jessica Jackson, from the organization, and three mothers, Danielle, Drew, and Tarlexus, who received payment.

Drew said, "This actually isn't just making a change. It is going to relieve me of a lot stress financially and mentally. I am really grateful for you guys." Tarlexus also shared, "This will take a great deal of pressure off my shoulders. This has changed my life. It's hard to know how to express my gratitude. "I'm going do so many things with this newfound liberation."

It means so much to me. "Thank you so much. Danielle: "You know, I shouldn’t be punished for not being able to pay off the debt.

Kardashian responded, "I'm hoping this little bit will continue to push you to where you are supposed to be."

In a recent press release, the "Kardashians'" star stated that it was difficult to imagine what these mothers go through. "All they are looking for is the chance to rebuild themselves, but our system keeps them in a never-ending cycle of supervision." I'm doing my part to help these women get the second chance that they deserve.

I urge legislators and advocates to change outdated laws that are keeping too many people in prison unnecessarily. She continued, "I will continue to raise awareness about these important issues until they are changed."
