RHOBH's star claims that Mike Ruiz was "somewhat convincing" in this shoot

Kyle Richards, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", was forced to step outside her comfort zone in a photoshoot with PhotoBook magazine. The shoot saw her standing naked beside Thomas Canestraro, a kickboxing champion.

Richards looks hot in the spread, which was shot by Mike Ruiz and styled and edited by Alison Hernon, the magazine's editor. She also wears sexy looks by The Blonds and Lory Sun. She talks about her time on Bravo as well as her role in "Halloween Ends", but it's her provocative photos that have made headlines and generated serious discussion in her mentions.

"Don't @ me. It's art," Richards shared the cover photo to her Instagram account on Thursday morning. "@MikeRuizOne needed to convince me to do it. Finally, I received approval from the famchat.

Kyle said she received "approval" from her family. Ruiz also shared the reaction of Richards' husband Mauricio on his page.

"What did Mauricio say about the hot hunk she has around ???????"? Ruiz asked Ruiz a fan. The response of the photographer? "He was completely fine with it when I FaceTimed him from the shoot."

He wrote, "Thanks Kyle for trusting me since this shoot was way out of my comfort zone," in his caption.

According to a press release, Richards called Mauricio out of "great respect" for her husband. He also "assured her that he would be OK with the set-up if she asked." After having worked with Ruiz before, she also "trusted" Ruiz.

Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore and Kenya Moore star in "Real Housewives of Atlanta". They also reacted on social media to the shoot.

"OK, Delete that entire caption!" Let's talk," Williams wrote on Kyle's Facebook page. Art is provocative and provokes conversation! It's a great gift for your spouse if you love it.
