She received a cold reading on the prompter in order to announce her own proposal.

This week, a news anchor from Tennessee was surprised when she filmed a promotional video that featured her.

WRCB news anchor Cornelia Nicholson realized she and her boyfriend Riley Nagel were the couple in the promo she was filming.

Nicholson began, nervously giggling when she saw the flashing pictures of her and Nagel.

She said "Coming right up, we will have the story about Riley Nagle with a special reporting," before turning away from the camera to see Nagel walk over.

He said, "You're correct Cornelia. I have a special report," as he approached with a bouquet. "Cornelia, would you marry my?"

Nicholson said, "I'm going to cry," before he got down on one knee. The anchor extended her hand to her now-fiance so that he could place the ring on her ring finger.
