The highly anticipated Season 4 "Love Is Blind", live reunion event was a failure. Vanessa Lachey, the host of the show, spoke out about the now infamous snafu after the live-turned taped reunion finally appeared on Netflix 19 hours later.

Vanessa began the reunion special, which aired on streamer Monday afternoon instead of Sunday evening, by addressing the elephant that was in the room.

She welcomed viewers to the 'Love Is Blind Reunion' before apologizing for the long delay and failure of live event. "I want to say that we are sorry for our lateness. We're no longer alive. We are finally here.

"Yes! Finally!" Nick Lachey, Vanessa's husband and cohost, said before Vanessa noted that the viewers at home had "not missed a single thing."

She quipped, "We have been sitting here on these couches without talking to eachother so that we could save the tea for you."

Netflix was supposed to start streaming the live reunion on Sunday, at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT. But that wasn't what happened.

Fans who were confused and frustrated by the error messages that appeared on their TV screens after watching the live special took to Twitter to vent.

We are sorry to everyone who stayed awake late, got up early or gave up Sunday afternoons... the Love is Blind Live Reunion didn't turn out how we planned. We are filming now, and will have it available on Netflix as quickly as we can. Thank you again and...

Around 9:30 p.m. Netflix apologized to its fans on Twitter for the delay. The statement was posted over an hour later than the scheduled start time of the live reunion.

The tweet said: "To all who stayed up, woken up early, and gave up your Sunday afternoon... We are incredibly sorry the Love is Blind Live Reunion didn't turn out the way we planned." This was before the streamer shared that they would be filming the reunion. It will no longer take place live. "We are filming now and will have it available on Netflix as quickly as we can." "Thank you again and I'm sorry."

Deadline reports that there are "unspecified" technical issues.

Netflix finally released the reunion tape on Monday, at 3 pm. ET.
