"A thousand .... Tish Cyrus captions photos of her with "Prison Break's" Dominic Purcell, and shines a light on her stunning engagement ring. This is just two days after Purcell joked on his Instagram, "Punching WAY above my weight," to refer to their relationship.

Tish Cyrus, who has been dating Dominic Purcell for less than six months, and her boyfriend Dominic Purcell have now gotten engaged.

In November 2022, the mother of Miley Cyrus confirmed their relationship shortly after Billy Ray Cyrus' ex announced his engagement to Australian Firerose. She teased her relationship with the actor as early as July by commenting "Hi Baba" on one of his Instagram posts.

Purcell, a 53-year-old British Australian, is best known as the co-lead actor on Fox's hit show "Prison Break", as well as for his breakthrough supporting role in The CW series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."

Purcell was notably present at the party celebrating Miley Cyrus's "Flowers" smash hit in January.

Cyrus announced the news on Instagram, with two pictures. One showed their hands and Cyrus' new engagement ring. "A thousand times .... "YES @dominicpurcell," the caption read.

Hers came just two days after Purcell jokingly joked on his Instagram page that he "punched way above my weight" in this relationship. Cyrus replied to his post with "I love you, babe ..... ." He hasn't yet acknowledged his engagement on Facebook.

Cyrus was first contacted by two of his daughters, who he shares with his ex-wife Rebecca Williamson. Lily-Rose wrote "Yesssssss," then a series emojis. Audrey, 22, also expressed her feelings in emojis: three crying hearts and three crying hearts.

Audrey added to her excitement on her Instagram Story by adding "Congratulations my Dad and @tishcyrus. You are a beautiful couple. "I love you two forever!"

Marie-Therese Purcell, Purcell's younger sister, commented, "I can't wait to drink expensive champagne at your marriage." Happy engagement you two."

Cyrus' five children -- Brandi (35), Trace (34), Miley (30), Braison (28), and Noah (23) -- as well as her five children with Billy Ray have not yet commented on the announcement.
