OG Child's Playstars Return for 'Chucky' -- See Their 'Surreal' Return

Alex Vincent admitted that he was "a little resentful" that the series ended without him but that he still felt the need to root for Jennifer Tilly, eventual franchise star.

Andy Barclay is ready to take revenge on his step-sister Kyle, but do they have the right tools after 30 years?

The 33-year-old franchise may not want its continuity to be preserved, but they are certain to try this season on the killer dolls' self-titled SYFY series and USA series.

After appearing in the first "Child's Play," movie in 1988, Alex Vincent's Andy joined Christine Elise's Kyle for the sequel in 1990. The series then went on a very long hiatus. Justin Whalin replaced Vincent in "Child's Play 3", before Andy was removed from the franchise. Alex then made a cameo in "Curse of Chucky" in 2013. This role grew to a bigger one in 2017's "Cult of Chucky," ending with Elise making a cameo.

The two step-siblings, now on "Chucky", are finally reunited on screen in what can only been referred to as the "Avengers of Child's Play" installments. This show brings together stars of the original films, "Bride of Chucky", and the two most recent movies.

Vincent said that it was "surreal" and "just incredible" before Elise and his debut on Tuesday's episode. "Christine, I and Elise talk almost every day and have done so for many years. This was something we looked forward to so much."

He said that it was either excitement, anxiety, or sometimes both, but it was a buildup to the opportunity to work together again like this. "So, then to actually get there, amidst the madness and getting there, it was just incredibly rewarding, extremely fun, the times between action to cut were just about the most enjoyable I had in Toronto."

Elise stated that it was an "unusual chance" to play a character with "so many inherent backstories" of which the audience already knows.

TooFab told her that it felt like all the hard work was done for her. "Everybody knows Andy and Kyle's relationship and that is true for us as humans. Our real-life relationship and history mirrors what we see on screen. It was almost effortless to get into it."

"Chucky" may be the first duo to cross paths with Jennifer Tilly’s Tiffany Valentine after Andy and Chucky's maniacal wedding shared a call in "Cult."

Vincent said that Vincent had brought this idea to Don Mancini, the series creator, when we were filming 'Cult'. He suggested that they might have a call or something to Jennifer Tilly because he wanted to share the screen. Vincent also admitted feeling a little left out after watching "Child's Play 2".

Vincent explained that Vincent watched Jennifer Tilly star in the Chucky story when she was a teenager. "And although I was a little disappointed or resentful, I couldn’t help but root to her."

He said, "Number 1 because I love Don; Number 2 because it's easy for me to root for Jennifer."

When "Chucky" airs on Tuesday nights on USA and SYFY, we'll find out if the gang meets up.
