Online Trolls Seem To Have Taken Their Toll On Brie Larson Over Her Role As Captain Marvel

Actors are often excited about the possibility of sequels to films they have starred in. Many were shocked by Brie Larson’s response when she was asked how many years she thinks she will play Captain Marvel.

Larson asks, "Does anyone want me to do it again?"

Larson was asked by an interviewer how long she will play Captain Marvel. Larson shocked the interviewer as well as the internet by saying, deadpan, "I don’t know." Is anyone asking me to do it again?

Larson was the star of Captain Marvel in the 2019 movie. It was Marvel's first movie featuring a female superhero, and it received strong reactions from the public.

Although most people were happy to see a movie featuring a female protagonist from the comic book company, there was a small but vocal contingent of fans who were not. Larson and the movie were heavily criticised by fans. However, many pointed out that the negative comments were rooted sexism.

Everyone criticized everything, from the storyline to the casting choices to Larson’s performance as the hero. Larson's Captain Marvel was criticized for not smiling enough and looking angry. She posted photos of Captain America and Iron Man posters with smiley faces that were photoshopped.

Larson's Fans Support Larson

Many people have noted that Larson's lackluster response to the possibility of appearing in more Marvel films is not surprising. One fan wrote, "When you are hated on and torn apart, taken from context on a daily basis that takes a toll, that takes it all off you." Our words can have an impact on anyone, even Brie. "She said nothing wrong."

Another tweet said, "Listen, i'm no captain marvel fan but the treatment Brie has received is downright disgusting." She was threatened with death for her role in a movie, and some of you have the nerve to ask "Why does she sound so crazy here?"

Larson will reprise her role in the upcoming movie 'The Marvels.

Despite Larson's limited appearances as Captain Marvel since Captain Marvelhit theatres, many still have high standards for her performance as this superhero. Larson will play Captain Marvel again in the The Marvels. She will be starring alongside Ms. Marvel (played by Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (played by Teyonah Paarris).

Larson appears ready for the trolling that is most likely to come when The Marvels, a movie starring three female superheroes, hits theaters. She shared a photo with Vellani, Parris and the caption "*trolls explode*".
