Pam claims that she was certain it wouldn't work out with Kid Rock when she said "I do"
Pamela Anderson opens up about her past relationships to Tommy Lee and Kid Rock.
The actress spoke candidly about her marriages to musicians during a SiriusXM interview.
Stern, 69 brought up Anderson's description of Lee, 55, as "the only man that I ever loved", while she was on her press tour to promote her book and documentary. The couple, who were both "Baywatch" alumni and Motley Crue drummer, had two sons, Dylan, 25, and Brandon, 26.
Anderson said that she had two wonderful boys with him. Stern then asked Anderson if it was "worship" or "real love" and if she has "ever experienced true romantic love."
She replied that she felt romantic love was not sustainable. "I don’t believe I ever gave myself the chance to have another relationship that was of any value after that. It was more like trying put a family unit together again, but it wasn't really love.
Former Playboy model said that she was "just going through the motions" after Tommy Lee. She later admitted that she realized that there's "just nothing like [she] had" and that it was "just not the same."
Anderson stated that Anderson was trying to numb some pain by putting people in his life.
Anderson started a relationship with Kid Rock several years after her divorce from Lee. Anderson and Anderson were engaged in 2003. Anderson ended the relationship that year. She and Kid Rock were engaged in 2003, but broke up within a few months.
Stern jokedly asked Anderson when she realized that her marriage to Kid Rock was a "tremendous mistake." Anderson laughed and replied, "Right after I got married... well right after [the ceremony].
The "Barb Wire” star, who has been married six times to five different men, admitted to having a "flaw" in relationships.
"I just jumped into something because Tommy and I did and we had an incredible connection." She said, adding that "But then you jump in to something and it's like, "Oh, it isn't this incredible connection, it just something else." Then, I slowly work my way out.
She continued, "I think I detach slightly and that's why I think that's made people a bit crazy. And any sign of violence or a lack of respect or lying is my excuse for leaving." It always comes down to this, it's like someone is breaking things or screaming or something. It's too much for me... I'd rather get out of it and run for the hills.
Anderson opened up about her current relationship with Lee on "Home Improvement." Anderson stated that the two texts were "here and then", but that it's "nothing crazy." She also said she supports Brittany Furlan's marriage.
She explained that he is happy and married, and that she is good to him. "I hate being annoying and going through all this again. She's probably annoyed. I respect their relationship. I'm glad that he is happy and has someone in his life.
Anderson stated that their sons Brandon and Dylan see Lee "all of the time."
She said that the documentary was "a love letter to their parents" and added, "I think this movie too is kinda like that." They know they are true lovers, so they want people to see their real story. Brandon is an artist and wanted to tell the story from an authentic, real perspective.
Howard asked Anderson later if Anderson has any regrets about anything that happened in her life, or if it was something she would do over and over again. "Was it fun or was it sad or miserable?" What are your thoughts? He asked.
An animal rights activist stated that she would not change anything if it were possible.
She said, "It was all it, but there were more good times than bad and it would have been impossible to do it any other way." It was a wild, wild ride that I survived and made it back to my home in one piece. I returned to the home I grew up. I purchased the home of my grandmother, and now I live in it. I look at my life from the exact spot where my feet first touched the ground as a baby. It all seems like a movie to me.
After her marriages with Kid Rock and Lee, Anderson married Rick Salomon in 2007. However, the marriage was annulled six months later. They remarried in 2014 after their split. However, they divorced a few months later. She secretly married Jon Peters in early 2020. However, after their split, two weeks later she claimed that their marriage wasn't legal. She then married Dan Hayhurst, a bodyguard, on Christmas Eve 2020. However, they were divorced by 2022.
Anderson said that Anderson is currently happy being single.
She said, "This past year I was alone, and it has been an incredible year for me." It's been a good experience. It's like being able to be by yourself before you can be with someone else. So I feel like I am just growing up. It has taken a while."
Anderson's memoir, Love, Pamela, and her Netflix documentary, Pamela: A Love Story, will be released simultaneously on January 31.
