In the darkness, a topless man is seen carrying his clothes out of a home. Law enforcement officials say he could have been involved in violent crimes.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office released video footage that they believe is of a man who may have a connection with the brutal murder of Rachel Hannah Mortin.
The doorbell footage shared by the law enforcement shows a man leaving a home in darkness with his clothes on his back. It appears that someone is inside the home, and they close the door when he leaves.
The Sheriff's Office shared the video clip on social media with a note that "we are requesting assistance to identify the individual below depicted in relation to Rachel Hannah Morin's homicide, which occurred August 5, 2023."
Their post stated that Rachel was brutally killed while walking along the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air, Harford County Maryland. The unknown male is described by police as being 5'09'' 160 lbs, between 20-30 years old, with dark hair and a muscular build. He is also believed to be hispanic.
They added: "This isn't a recent photo (within six months) and the subject may have had a change in hairstyle." This individual may have had violent crimes committed in other states and is thought to have connections to the Los Angeles region.
They asked: "Anyone who can identify this unknown male, or has additional information, is asked to contact the Harford County Sheriff's Office at our tip line (410) 836-7788 or via email at [email protected]."
The police did not reveal what they believed the man was connected to the case.
