In Touch says that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry expect a handsome payment from their Spotify and memoir deals. Markle apparently has a "wardrobe costing at least $3million," according to a leak. The outlet lists some of the expensive items Markle has stored in her closet. The outlet lists Markle's "engagement gown cost $99,000", her "wedding dresses at over $1 million and her South Pacific tour outfits at $150,000."

The listed items were purchased while Markle was with Prince Harry, but Markle has not stopped shopping since moving to America. An insider claims that her husband is becoming increasingly annoyed by her excessive spending. "She isn't on a budget and Harry doesn't want it," the source says. He did not pay $20 million for his memoir so that Meghan could spend it on her clothes and accessories.

Is Meghan Markle Spending Too Much Money?

This In Touch story is too flawed for Gossip Cop. The magazine's recent TIME cover features Markle and Prince Harry to show that she is a shopaholic. The tabloid claims Markle has $384,000 in jewelry but doesn't mention that her engagement ring is $350,000. Two $500 "pinky promise rings" were the only new pieces Markle owned.

We are also confident that Prince Harry doesn't worry about money as this tabloid claims. It's unlikely that Prince Harry is worried about money. The Duchess and Duke of Sussex have their Spotify deal and Prince Harry’s memoir. Prince Harry described his memoir as a personal journey. It seems absurd to suggest that he is only doing it to cover his wife's nonexistent spending spree.

Previous Financial Rumors

This isn't the first time Gossip Cop disproved a ridiculous rumor regarding Meghan Markle's and Prince Harry's financial position. Woman's Day claimed that the Duke and Duchess were able to withdraw "a substantial amount of money from the royal purse" prior to their departure for America in 2020. This claim was made when the royal family was facing financial difficulties. The tabloid blamed Markle, Prince Harry and the Royal Family.

The National Enquirer reported that Markle wanted $90 million in hush money from the royal family at the start of the year. The tabloid claims that Markle was planning this standoff since she married Prince Harry, and was using him only for his money. The narrative is false, and Markle, Prince Harry and Prince Harry don't have any reason to worry about money.
