The production methods of Kopp and Morillion were a breath of fresh oxygen. Global greenhouse gas emissions are 1.4% due to sneaker production. Air travel accounts for 2.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

Veja aimed to change this by mindful production. Kopp stated that fashion can be compared to cooking. It's possible to make a great meal if you take care of each ingredient and are patient. The same goes for developing a brand.
Thanks to Veja's patience and careful selection, the brand can "one foot in the design and one in the responsibility," TPG reports.

Celebs Love Celebs (And You Will Too)

Emma Watson, actress, was on the Veja train before Meghan Markle wore the Veja trains to the Invictus games. Celebs such as Emily Ratajkowski, French President Emmanuel Macron and others have continued the trend.

Reese Witherspoon, the queen of Rom-Com and comfortable-chic, was also seen wearing a pair Vejas in an IG photo. Although the photo is quite large, Veja's distinctive "V" pattern makes it easy to identify.
